Where Is My Spoon?

We drink our teas mostly with lemon on this part of the globe.

It is not so relevant information... but

 where is MY SPOON? 

I painted this still life on a vivid orange base, which is a bit unusual choice 

but I am happy with that

because this way my whites got new life and warm tone.

Fitting in

We have a tendency of longing for fitting in. 

Sometimes it is simple and natural.

And other times... well if someone is not born to be sour... what would they do?

Will they be bitter?

Canned Peaches

I preserved peaches on canvas. 

To tell the truth I don't like canned peaches at all. 

So this year this is my clever version of preservation. 

And I eat the models too.

Pear Friendship - small still life

Some likeliness, yes that is what you need for a good, working friendship... some likeliness. So these pears made friendship at first sight... and their new glassy friend is a new chapter in friendship.

I have to tell you, that painting this glassy friend... well, it's not an easy task.

Electric Grapefruits

Electricity... wow, after so many years I am still wondering, even if  I am not the one who remembers when the first electric light bulbs were lit. 
And those type of bulbs are out of date. So If want to paint one I have to chase one, like old those old charcoal type irons. Yes, this light bulb is an old one.

Melontower and Strawberrytop.

If I were a fancy foodblogger or candidate in a cooking show, this would be my entry. Oh, not much cooking, that is right. But I love colors. Beautiful reds on red. Who can overtop this simple beauty?

3 Pieces of Cherries - Oil Painting

3 pieces  of cherries before season.

Tell me, if your cherries are already ripened in your garden,

I am just hungry for them. Otherwise I have to wait.

In order to get more of these precious cherries,
